ALDE 26th Annual General Meeting – Virtual Meeting – October 13th, 2020

Dear Members

The Association of Land Development Engineers (ALDE) will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 13th October from 5.30pm until approx. 6.15pm via Zoom.  This meeting is open to all General Members and we hope you will take a moment to join us.  If you are a member and have not received the invitation to attend, please contact Karen at the ALDE office.

All General members of ALDE are invited to nominate for a position on the Executive Committee for 2020/2021. We are seeking committee members that are eager and enthusiastic and who want to play an active role in setting the direction of the Association and its activities.

Participation on the Committee is also of personal benefit, providing professional development and networking opportunities.  Nominees should take note of the following:

  1. Executive committee meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month, from 4.30pm to approx. 6.30pm.  Meetings will be held via Microsoft Teams until Covid-19 restrictions are eased at which time other locations may be used, typically the office of the residing President for face to face meetings. Committee members are expected to attend the majority of meetings.
  2.  All committee members are expected to play an active role in Association activities and will be required to undertake a specific role or task, including participation on a sub-committee. This will require attendance or involvement in meetings or teleconferences outside of the monthly committee meetings. Sub Committee meetings are typically held via zoom (or MS Teams).  These meetings are held at a commonly agreed time within the sub-committee by the committee members.
  3. All nominees who wish to apply for a position on the committee are required to be a financial General Member of ALDE for the 2020/2021 financial year.  If you wish to verify your financial status please [email protected]

 

Should you wish to nominate for the Executive Committee, please complete the attached Nomination form and  return to the ALDE office via email by 5pm Tuesday 6th October, 2020 via email to [email protected]

Minutes of the previous meeting and financial statements will be available at the meeting or via email request prior.

This event is available ONLY to our General Members.
